DESCRIPTION: \nSéminaire BSE – programme 3\n  \nGuillaume Chapelle\nTHEMA\, CY Cergy Paris Université and LIEPP\, Sciences Po \n  \n  \nHow distortive is the Value Added Tax on Residential Investment\n(joint with Alain Trannoy)  \n  \nIn an optimal taxation framework\, we show that taxing investments might generate important distortions. \nWe then use a natural experiment to document the impact of a cut in the V.A.T on the production of dwellings.\nOur results show that the V.A.T reduces significantly the production of  new dwellings. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n– Séminaire organisé par le programme 3 / BSE –\n  \n  \n– Voir plus d’événements –\n  \n \n \n  \n
