SUMMARY:La pluralité méthodologique dans les sciences sociales de l’Asie du Sud
DESCRIPTION:Le GREThA co-organise le workshop\nLa pluralité méthodologique dans les sciences sociales de l’Asie du Sud\nCette Journée est consacrée à la réflexivité des méthodes employées dans l’étude des sociétés sud-asiatiques. Nous appelons les jeunes chercheurs en sciences sociales engagés dans des terrains en Asie du Sud à questionner la pertinence des méthodologies employées dans leurs recherches. Les interventions auront pour objet d’interroger avant tout la spécificité des méthodes mobilisées par rapport à leur appartenance disciplinaire\, de tester l’intérêt des approches mixtes et d’examiner les apports et les limites de méthodes innovantes\, comme celles apportées par le « Big Data ». Si ces questions sont régulièrement discutées au sein des sciences sociales\, elles sont rarement directement associées à une zone géographique en particulier\, qui fait pourtant émerger des difficultés propres dans la collecte et le traitement des données\, et qui seront abordées au cours de cette journée. Ce workshop sera organisé par la Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Paris-Saclay en collaboration avec le GREThA et s’inscrit dans les réunions annuelles de l’Association Jeunes Études Indiennes (AJEI) \nAJEI – MSH Paris-Saclay – GREThA workshop
