8th Bordeaux Conference in Development Economics

We would like to invite you to submit a paper to the 8th Bordeaux Conference in Development Economics.
The BCDE conference is a two-day event with a broad focus on development economics.
We invite submissions from interested researchers on any topic within the area of development economics.
Both empirical and theoretical contributions are encouraged.

Submissions

Please submit your full paper or an extended abstract with the main results in PDF form by March 10, 2020
by email at bordeauxdev2020@u-bordeaux.fr
or through the conference web site : https://bcde2020.sciencesconf.org.
Authors chosen to present papers will be notified by mid-March.
A preliminary program will be announced by mid-April.

Students & participants coming from developing countries’ universities or institutions** 70 € 100 €
Accompanying person (only covers the gala dinner of Thursday) 50 € 50 €

*Fees: include registration fees + lunches, coffee breaks and  gala diner

**Conditional on their paper’s acceptance, several grants could be awarded (upon request) to participants coming from developing countries’ universities or institutions in order to partially cover their expenses (notably conference fees and accommodation in Bordeaux) . Details about the application procedure will be provided in the acceptance letter.
