Maître de conférences

Laurent Bergé is an associate professor of economics (maître de conférence) at the University of Bordeaux since 2021. Prior to joining the University of Bordeaux, he has been a postdoc in statistics at University Paris Descartes and a postdoc in economics at the University of Luxembourg. He holds his PhD in economics from the University of Bordeaux (2015).

He does mostly empirical research in economics, his main fields of interest being the economics of innovation, networks, the economics of science. He also has contributions in statistics and develops software (in the language R).
