The XXXVIIIth Development Days of the Third World Association will be held in Bordeaux, France from May 31 to June 1, 2023, in partnership with :
BSE – Bordeaux Science Economique (UMR 6060) the University of Bordeaux,
Passages (UMR 5319), the University of Bordeaux- Montaigne
and the LAM (Les Afriques dans le monde)
- Proposals for papers may come from a variety of disciplines (anthropology, urban planning and development, demography, law, economics, management, sociology, political science, geography, history, etc.).
- They will specify, in two pages maximum, the problematic, the methodology and the framework of analysis, the expected results, and the main bibliographical elements.
- They may deal with theoretical, empirical or methodological aspects, and should examine the relationship between development policies, development actors and evaluation methods.
- Proposals may be written in French, English or Spanish.
- Oral presentations will be made only in French or English.
- The respect of these instructions conditions the examination of any proposal by the scientific committee.
- The following themes constitute the axes in which the proposals must fall. Proposals can be transversal to several themes.
