Being passionate about innovations, I first obtained an engineering degree in Computer Science. At that time I started working on virtual reality technologies (it was in 2007). I then completed a PhD in Cognitive Sciences, followed immediately by the position of engineer in the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory (LPNC and LIP) where we started the project of setting up a virtual reality system allowing to realize new experimental paradigms. My next engineering position was in a GIPSA-Lab laboratory, where I was part of a project to develop a real-time Text-to-Speech generation system.

The next part of my professional career was spent in an IT company, where I was able to improve my knowledge of IT, particularly on the software production cycle, project organization methods (e.g. agile), specification creation and customer advising.

With this background of skills and knowledge, I joined CNRS in 2019 to continue the way towards technological innovations. I am currently focused on data processing and analysis using the tools offered by Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Text mining and numerous Machine Learning algorithms. Situated in the Bordeaux School of Economics, I’m currently participating in various projects focused on patent text processing, assessing urban policy face to climate dangers, and promoting the creation of innovative regional start-ups. At the same time, I teach Introduction to python, introduction to text mining in python and via CorText platform to master’s students in Economics.

Passionnée par les innovations technologiques, j’ai obtenu d’abord un diplôme d’ingénieur en Informatique. Pendant cette période, j’ai commencé à travailler avec des technologies de réalité virtuelle (c’était en 2007). J’ai ensuite soutenu une thèse en Sciences Cognitives. J’ai poursuivi tout de suite sur un poste d’ingénieur dans un laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives (LPNC et LIP), où nous avons démarré un projet de mise en place d’un système de réalité virtuelle, dans un contexte de mise en place de nouveaux paradigmes expérimentaux. Mon poste d’ingénieur suivant était dans le laboratoire GIPSA-Lab : j’ai participé à un projet visant à développer un système de génération de la parole à partir du texte (Text-to-Speech) en temps réel .

La suite de mon parcours professionnel s’est effectuée dans une entreprise d’informatique, où j’ai pu améliorer mes connaissances en informatique, notamment sur le cycle de production de logiciels, sur les méthodes d’organisation du projet (méthode agile), du cahier des charges et du conseil.

Ayant ce bagage de compétences et de connaissances, j’ai ensuite intégré le CNRS en 2019 pour poursuivre la démarche vers les innovations technologiques. Je suis actuellement focalisée sur le traitement et l’analyse des données à l’aide des outils proposés par l’Intelligence artificielle, de la fouille de texte et nombreux algorithmes de Machine Learning.

Située dans un laboratoire d’Economie (Bordeaux Sciences Economiques), je participe aux différents projets visant à fouiller les textes des brevets, à estimer la politique urbaine face aux dangers climatiques, à promouvoir la création des start-ups régionaux. En parallèle, j’enseigne l’introduction au python, l’introduction à la fouille de textes en python et via la plateforme CorText, aux étudiants de master en Economie.
